May Road School And Hay Park School initial visit (collaborating)

What? Today we walked up to May Road School. We were collaborating in groups but not just in groups from our school but mixed together. I was so interested finding out what peoples pasion were. Unfortunately we could not take our chromebooks with us but anyways it was so nice meeting other people. Well I’ll say that this is so amazing collaborating with May Road School. It was also fun to getting to explore their wonderful school. I had meet some people I remember one was Emalata, Elizabeth, Ana. They were so nice meeting them and showing me around was even exciting.

 So what? We went to May Road School to collaborate on our genius hour project. It was so amazing collaborating with them because they had interesting ideas to listen to. Well moving around the hall writing down ideas was exciting. Reading the different wonderings that they had was AMAZING! What didn’t went well was when 3 groups had no collaboration going on. I hope to see them next time collaborating even sharing ideas.


 Now what? Collaborating together more. Sharing your ideas and learning what you want to learn. Working together with others. Be more specific about what you want to learn about.

Cyber Smart!

Hello again Bloggers, This short presentation is about being cyber smart online. Also making the right choices online. Here's a quick question you can answer in your head How can we protect our personal infromation online? Also is about how you can be cyber smart online, when you are online you need to make sure that you don't give out Important information about yourself or any friends and family. However you must make sure that when you are online you can be trusted by an older adult or family member. When you are in a class of computers you are been high trusted.

Welcome back to term three!

Hello everyone and WELCOME back to term three! I hope you have had a great break well I am glad to be back for another awesome term well I am so excited about what this term is going to be about! have fun and happy blogging!

My Key Competence Reflection for the last two terms 2014

 Over the last two terms learning in McCahon class I have learnt it is important to reflect on my learning. It is important to reflect on your learning so that you know what you've done well and what you need to do next time.

 Another skill I have is being able to collaborate with others. For example collaborating in group discussions and in class discussions. This one of my strengths and what I can do well with a supportive teacher and a supportive school.

 Another thing that's been amazing (and why I love this school) is all the different opportunities that you can be a part of. I am a part of my class ambassadors and road patrol. Earlier this term I was speaking on behalf of my class at our sculpture trail. I spoke confidently about our class sculpture to all the children and families who came along.


 I am excited about the next two term and what they are going to be about!

Nga Manawa

In class we had a visitor named Kennedy he travels around the world discovering about mangroves. He told us that even a tigers live in a mangrove forests. Happy blogging and commenting!

In class we have been practicing our basic facts with xtramath. The green squares mean I am really good at doing this fact and fast at it too, the yellow square means that I am slow at answering that fact, the grey means I have missed that fact.
My basic fact goal is to: Learn my basic facts so next time I come to do it I am really fast at doing it.
